Tasting- Sainte Victoire Cotes de Provence
This 2011 Sainte Victoire Cotes de Provence is from Provence, France, made from 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Cinsault, priced at $8.95. The Vintage Cellar said, "Bright salmon pink; typical of the fresh but warm Provence style. Refined and complex on the nose, with summer fruit and floral notes. Dry ad crisp, with a delicate flavor and full texture." This wine had a very pretty light pink color, and was a light rose even though it is made from dark grapes. It tasted very fresh, with floral notes and a strong fruity taste with splashes of raspberries.
